MO'NIQUE WINS AWARD

Mo'Nique won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress tonight. She first thanked the Academy "for showing that it can be about the performance and not the politics." She then paid tribute to Gone With the Wind Supporting Actress Hattie McDaniel, the first African-American ever to win an Oscar (in 1939), and "for enduring all she had to, so I wouldn't have to."

Here are some of my other favorite gown pics.

Zoe Saldana. Gorgeous. Goregeous! She's wearing a Givenchy haute couture by Riccardo Tisci

Mariah sported a Valentino Haute Couture midnight-blue crepe gown

Twilight's Kristen Stewart donned strapless midnight blue silk satin organza gown by Monique Lhuillier

Miley Cyrus wore a custom champagne-colored silk and tulle strapless bustier bodice gown with hand-beading and sequins designed by Jenny Packham.

Demi Moore sported a Atelier Versace gown and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels.

J.Lo wore a Giorgio Armani Prive iridescent icy pale pink silk organza evening gown

Sandra Bullock Marchesa
