| ESSENCE MUSIC FESTIVAL KICKS OFF JULY 2ND-4TH GIVEAWAY CONTEST DETAILS Posted: 01 Jul 2010 11:25 AM PDT
The Essence Music festival kicks off tomorrow on July 2nd in New Orleans. This year’s festival has an all star roster including live performances by Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige and Janet Jackson. Tickets are on sale now at the Essence Music Festival website. The EMF is promoting volunteerism through their “Impact New Orleans” program. In the days leading up to the festival, ESSENCE is asking people to volunteer a day of service and show support of continued efforts to help rebuild New Orleans. Volunteers will assist with the ESSENCE Healthy Living Fair – an event hosted in conjunction with the U.S. Army to provide a range of public services to the residents of New Orleans.
