The Carters hit the stage at Coachella Music Fest together this weekend to perform a surprise duet Friday night. Bey accompanied her hubby on "Forever Young." And on Saturday, they kicked it around the grounds as spectators.

Despite an online report that the singer is pregnant, Beyoncé's rep say the story is "not true."

In the past, Knowles, 28, has spoken about her desire to start a family with her husband, 40. "I hope that those things will just happen naturally," she told Allure magazine for its February issue.

The pair, who were married in a secret ceremony, celebrate their second anniversary April 4.

JAY-Z BREAKS GROUND

Last Thursday Hov was in Brooklyn at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Barclays Center, the future home of the New Jersey Nets, the NBA team he co-owns. In attendance was Beyoncé, the Reverend Al Sharpton and the mayor and governor of New York.



"What I stand here and represent is hope for Brooklyn, New York City. I'm a son of Brooklyn, I'm from Marcy projects," Jay said. "I think about growing up in Brooklyn in the Marcy projects and shooting jump shots, thinking I can make it to the NBA. Now I stand here as an owner of a team that's coming back to Brooklyn. The pride in that, and bringing that dream so much closer for people, brings me so much pride I get a little nervous about it. But I'm very happy, very excited about this day. And we did it again, Brooklyn — shout-out to [Notorious] B.I.G."

JAY-Z UNDER INVESTIGATION

It's so hard to keep Hov's business dealings, but it looks like he's under investigation.

According to the New York Post, the rap mogul's involvement with the Aqueduct Entertainment Group (AEG)—the consortium chosen to run a multi-billion dollar race track/casino at the Aqueduct Racetrack in Queens and his connection with New York state Governor David Patterson —has ignited a federal investigation.

According to reports, authorities are more than skeptical about the selection of AEG to operate the new venture and what role Jay played in swaying New York Governor David Patterson's decision.

Paterson, who is known for having a relationship with the 40-year-old rapper—has a seven percent stake in AEG and according to sources, knew that Jay-Z had been trying to get involved with the investment since last year. One source reportedly told the Post that Jay eventually linked up with casino mogul Steve Wynn, who at the time was bidding for control.

According to reports [Gov.] Patterson advised Wynn that “he needed to have a minority partner” and that is when, according to sources, Wynn reached out to Jay-Z. But when Wynn pulled out, Jay-Z was without a home.

The source then claims that when Wynn's deal went sour, AEG scooped up Jay to appeal to the governor.

AEG denies that it tapped the Hip-Hop heavyweight to win the governor's favor.

For all you Hov haters, things just got worse. The rapper is considering shooting two more videos from the Blueprint 3.



"I wanna shoot 'Venus vs. Mars,' " he told reporters last weekend in Dallas. "I may shoot two — I shot 'Run This Town' [and 'D.O.A. (Death of Auto Tune)'], I been shooting two at the same time. I'll probably shoot 'Venus' and maybe 'A Star Is Born.' But I definitely wanna shoot 'Venus' — I got an amazing concept in my mind."

ANYONE WONDERING WHERE JAY-Z WAS?

So was anyone else wondering where Jay-Z was for the "We Are the World" remake?

"I have a interesting take on that," Jay-Z said Saturday at the annual "2 Kings" dinner, which was sponsored by Sprite and Bing and took place during NBA All-Star weekend. "I know everybody is gonna take this wrong: 'We Are the World,' I love it, and I understand the point and think it's great. But I think 'We Are the World' is like [Michael Jackson's] 'Thriller' to me. I don't ever wanna see it touched. I'm a fan of music. I know the plight and everything that's going on in Haiti. I applaud the efforts: [Millions have been raised] through text [donations] to Haiti. So I appreciate the efforts and everything, but 'We are the World' is [musically] untouchable like 'Thriller' is untouchable. Some things are just untouchable. It was a valiant effort, but for me, it's gonna be untouchable."

Jay said he felt that a new song should have been written instead of re-creating the 1985 classic.

"I would have loved that idea better," he said. "As everyone knows, I have tremendous respect for Quincy Jones. Of course, I think he's genius, as everyone else does. [But] I think it's time for us to make a new [song]. I tried to do that with 'Stranded,' the song Jay, Rihanna and U2's Bono and the Edge premiered at the 'Hope for Haiti Now' telethon]. I didn't try to make 'We Are the World,' but I tried to make our take on how we felt."

JAY-Z SUES FINANCING FIRM

Jay-Z is suing a financing firm that he says soaked him for more than a million bucks in a failed hotel deal.

Hov maintains his company borrowed $52 million to build a posh hotel in Chelsea, then abandoned it when the economy tanked.

Highland Capital Management was holding the note and agreed to take over the W. 21st St. property - but took four months to finish the deal.

Every day of delay cost Beyoncé's hubby $20,000.

"Mr. Carter's group failed to repay the loan, which remains in default," a Highland spokesman said, adding the suit's claims are meritless.
