This summer, Rihanna will take her Rated R on the road for her "Last Girl On Earth" North American tour. She'll also be joined by up and coming pop star Ke$ha. Don't know who she is, but I hear alot about her.

The ladies, along with rapper Nicki Minaj, will kick it off in Seattle July 2, and make 25 total stops – including Los Angeles on July 21 and Madison Square Garden in N.Y.C. on Aug. 12 – ending August 25 in Chicago.

Tickets go on sale at LiveNation.com on April 9.

RIHANNA READY TO SEE THE LIGHT

Thank you....Rihanna has finally saw the light. She's letting go of her dark ways as she readies for her new album.

"Rated R, I love the sound of it, in terms of the bass," Rihanna explained to MTV Korea. "I really like the bottom, the grime of it. But if I were to combine that with more energetic, up-tempo pop records, then I think that will be a happy marriage. And that's where we'll probably go next."

Rated R was inspired mostly by Rihanna's ordeal in the wake of her and Brown's breakup. The singer was the subject of media headlines worldwide. She kept away from the spotlight after a brief reunion with Brown following their altercation. But when Rihanna returned, she had an album that chronicled her months away from the glare.

"This album is an expression of all those feelings that I went through in the last eight months, just different emotions," she said shortly after Rated R's release. "All of it isn't angry, all of it isn't dark and sad, 'cause I didn't go through that the whole time. That was part of it. It was really a roller coaster, and you get that when you're listening to the album."

RIHANNA CELEBRATES HER 22ND BIRTHDAY

We hear good friend L.A. Dodger Matt Kemp planned a private bash for Rihanna who turned 22 on Saturday, Feb. 20,

It's a far cry from last year, when a splashy 21st birthday bash planned by her record label was cancelled after she was attacked by then-boyfriend Chris Brown. Rihanna retreated from the spotlight and went on a movie date with friends to celebrate the milestone.

So what does Kemp have planned for the birthday girl?

"(Matt) really wanted to do something nice for Rihanna this year since she didn't have much of a 21st birthday last year," a source told E! News. The "small get-together" will reportedly include the couple's "closest friends, good Jamaican food, a photo booth, dancing and a nice cake."

The soiree is said to be taking place at a private home in Phoenix, where Kemp is staying during spring training.

GV Says: Here's a leaked picture. Is that a "little person" as a stripper. WTF?

RIHANNA PROMOTES RATED R

Rihanna held a press conference in Seoul, South Korea yesterday to promote her Rated R album. Fans gave her cakes and gifts as she answered questions.

MATT KEMP ONCE AGAIN SAYS HE'S JUST FRIENDS WITH RIHANNA

So after his publicity attempt with Rihanna backfired (guess you could say after people pull up your violent past), Matt Kemp is once again maintaining he's ONLY friends with Rihanna.

Despite his romantic trip to Mexico last month with Rihanna, the center fielder says he's focused on spring training and helping his team make it to the World Series.

"I can't get distracted by that," Kemp says in an interview on the L.A. Dodgers Web site of the paparazzi frenzy surrounding the Cabo San Lucas vacation. "When it's time to play baseball, that's my job. No distractions."

Though Kemp, 25, and Rihanna, 21, were spotted smooching and snuggling together, the hunky jock says the Grammy winner is "just a friend, a good friend of mine." He adds, "We went down to Mexico and had fun together."

The 25-year-old baseball pro has a lot riding on him. Considered one of the best center fielders in the league, Kemp was just rewarded with a two-year, $10.95 million contract after he won Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awards.

But will his playing the Hollywood field get in the way of his professional game?

Dodgers manager Joe Torre, who has worked with Derek Jeter during his high-profile hook-ups, doesn't thinks so. "When I see or sense it's become a distraction, that's when I'll say something. I don't like to anticipate problems."

GV Says: We desperately need Rihanna to get it together.

RIHANNA SHOOTS VID FOR RUDE BOY

Looks like Rihanna is shooting the video for her next single "Rude Boy" - one of my fav songs her her Rated R album.

Big prints, bold colors and a green screen....looks like it may be interesting. A break from her recently over-sexed flavor may be nice.

CELEBS PARTY WITH CLIVE

Celebs came out to Clive Davis' annual Pre-Grammy bash this weekend at the Beverly Hilton.

J. Hud came out slim and trim.....Interesting number here.

Kendu and MJB came out and played nice.

Rihanna - as usual - made a statement. Interesting, but kinda cute.

Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Fergie were there as well.

Keri Hilson came in a gold number.

Ciara....WTF???

Toni Braxton and Usher came out

SOME GRAMMY RED CARPET LOOKS

The celebs kept it fairly elegant this year at the Grammys....That's a good thing.

Beyonce was decked in a Stephane Rolland gown, Casadei heels and gilded Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Nice...but almost too vanilla for the Grammys.

Rihanna looked regal in a white high neck gown from Elie Saab.

J. Hud rocked a Victoria Beckham dress. Go girl!!!

Fergie hit the red carpet in a blue Emilio Pucci mini.

MJB donned a silk crepe fuschia gown with cut out detail by Gucci. This looks a little too tight to me.

Ashanti was there...She looked cute...but....

Ciara looked a mess (I'm sorry) in a black Givenchy dress and Cartier diamonds.

Lady Gaga came in a custom-made Giorgio Armani Prive get-up. Foolishness! She supposedly collaborated with Giorgio on a series of exclusive looks for the Grammys...SMH.

WTF??? Don't tell me Brit is slipping again. She arrived in a black long sleeve lace dress with black body suit by Dolce & Gabbana.

J. Lo looked awesome in her silver chain-mail Versace gown and towering platform heels.

Katy Perry - "channeling Indian Betty Paige princess"- came in a Luna Floral Sequin Gown with a dramatic back in nude from Zac Posen and diamond skull earrings. SMH....the color is so drab. Katy's too pretty for that.

Snooki came in a purple mini. WTF???

RIHANNA PICKS ANOTHER GOOD ONE

SMH....In an effort to move on, looks like Rihanna may have picked another lemon to pose for the paps with.

Just when it seemed like a drama-free romance was blooming for Rihanna, questions have surfaced about the singer's new beau, L.A. Dodgers star Matt Kemp.

In June 2008, Kemp's ex-girlfriend, Felisha Terrell, filed a temporary restraining order against him, alleging she endured "constant verbal abuse and threats. . . . He has other people calling me, stalking me and I feel very afraid for my safety."

The case never went beyond the restraining order and both sides agreed to move on.

But the details surfaced almost exactly a year after Rihanna was battered by her previous boyfriend, singer Chris Brown, following a pre-Grammy party. The pair split up and Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault and was sentenced to six months community labor.

A rep for Terrell quickly released a statement, saying, "To be clear, Matt was never physically abusive to Felisha."

Terrell's attorney at the time, David Diamond, reports that her allegations in the restraining order were truthful. "It was the harassment, it was the stalking and it was the intimidation," he says.

Kemp's camp denies all of it. His agent Dave Stewart released a statement, saying Terrell never moved forward with the case because "the statements made within [her complaint] were false."

"This happened over a year ago and it's really a non-issue for him," Stewart says. "He was saddened by the whole thing, especially taking into account what [Rihanna's] been through."

RIHANNA FINALLY HITS OPRAH

Rihanna finally hit Oprah today. Luckily it wasn't for the Breezy foolishness. Instead she joined Wyclef Jean in support of his Haiti relief efforts. She covered Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song.” I actually enjoyed her rendition, but then again I like that island girl swag she has.
