Shogun knocked out Machida, who was previously unbeaten in flat 3 minutes, 35 seconds into the first round to win the light heavyweight championship at UFC 113 “Machida vs. Shogun 2″ on Saturday at the Bell Center in Montreal.

If you can remember Machida took a controversial unanimous decision from Rua at UFC 104 in October so it was a justice night for Shogun and he battered the Shotokan karate savant with kicks to the leg and body the first time the two met, waited seven months for his shot at redemption, and he made the most of it.

Betty White has already made a history by hosting NBC Saturday Night Live Show at the age of 88 and i must say i was not disappointed to see Betty doing far too good with host of celebrities such as Ms. Shannon, Rachel Dratch, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer and Jay-Z.

Betty White came out of nowhere, conquered and won hearts of all the mortals like us as she presented most hyped Saturday Night Live on Mother’s Day ( May 8 ), as Nytimes puts it, “All it took to reinvigorate a 35-year-old comedy show was the presence of an 88-year-old woman.” The statement is quite true as not only the channels but the common people had great expectations from this episode of Betty as it was quite evident from the facebook campaign which she said made her nervous.

During her opening monologue, first of all she cracked the jokes on herself like on her age and how on earth she still can’t believe that an 88 year old is hosting Saturday Night Live. Betty had a one shot and she did almost everything right. It was a a mother’s day themed episode with guests list such as Ms. Shannon, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer and not to forget Jay-Z.

She kept the show alive by cracking jokes even on audience and in return she got a thunderous applause, however in most of the part she was involved in self-deprecating jokes. Jay-Z performed first on the show by stitching together his songs "Public Service Announcement," "99 Problems" and "Empire State of Mind" into a mega-mix, while he dedicated second performance to Betty White as later on Mr Hudson wearing some strange pants teamed up with the rapper on "Young Forever," which he dedicated to the "most incredible Betty White."Too bad Betty and Jay did not do a skit together.

MS White was in almost every frame of the show and she rocked big time on the show. So no what’s next for this 88 year old wonder…perhaps…who knows…hosting Academy Awards. Katy Perry is back with a new album this summer titled ‘California Gurls,’ which has a collaboration with hip-hop star Snoop Dogg. Katy Perry declared in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine that this will be a successful collaboration between her and Snoop similar to the successful Jay-Z / Alicia Keys collaboration, ‘Empire State of Mind.’
