The world was prepared for the nuptials of former first daughter Chelsea Clinton. However in the world of hip hop two high profile hip hop stars got married over the weekend.

Alicia Keys officially wed her fiance Swizz Beatz in a ceremony conducted by life gurua Deepak Chopra.

It is the first wedding for Keys who is expecting her first child with mega mogul Swizz Beatz. Congrats to the couple.

Alicia Keys and soon-to-be father of her child Swizz Beatz were married this past Saturday at a private estate near the Mediterranean Sea. The couple's friend Dr. Deepak Chopra presided over the nuptials.

Beatz wrote on his Twitter:

"Wowwwwwwwwww. … It's a brand new day I feel like Nas and Diddy song love ya'll and blessing!" (cbsnews.com)

The couple announced Keys' pregnancy this past May, which will be the first for Keys and third for Beatz, who has two children from prior relationships. [SOURCE]
