Chris Brown is debuting his new uptempo track and music video for the song Yeah 3x. The R&B singer is dancing, backflipping and popping and locking with back flips.
Chris Brown – Yeah 3x [Official Video]
Chris Brown’s “Yeah 3X” is a speaker-rattling, synth-laden, electro-house banger, so it’s only fitting that the accompanying visual would be all about powerhouse footwork.
The visual melds together a plethora of dance styles against a turn-of-the-century backdrop of old-timey storefronts and brownstones, kicking off with Breezy‘s acrobatic entrance. Donning a black vest, trousers and a tie pinned in place, Brown’s boyish energy belies his grown-man chic as he flips onto the top of a truck. Bored kids lining the neighborhood’s stoops run into the street cheering as Brown is clearly here to save the day and eradicate the youth’s ennui.
With a DJ spinning the sunny track, Brown then leads the mob of brightly dressed kids, teens and older residents down the street. Enthusiastic fist-pumping breaks out as the chorus nears and Brown flies through his first dance sequence. Flanked by two dancers, the trio pull off insanely high midair twirls, each seemingly jumping several feet above the ground.
Then, following a foxy extra to another part of the lot, Brown runs into a four ladies rocking tank tops and suspenders — his next crew of dancers. They whip out sharp-yet-fluid arm movements as Brown takes the time to belt out the chorus and work in a few hip thrusts.
With that out of the way, Breezy flits offscreen to a storefront labeled “Popin Pete’s” and begins the next chorus busting moves with the popping luminary. Both rock the springy and precise footwork, with Brown adding a bit more athletic oomph to the dance style Pete helped pioneer.
Next, Brown launches into the bridge, sporting an ’80s-era blazer, gold chain and, in one shot, carrying a massive shiny boombox. Spitting lines like, “DJ turn it loud/ And watch me turn it up!” Breezy rallies the crowd from a fire escape just before someone opens a fire hydrant and unleashes a spray of water on some dancers mid-jig. And while Beyonce was snapped yesterday in Miami, where Jay-Z was promoting his upcoming book Decoded, Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday to talk about her new Miss Tina clothing line, in an appearance set to air Thursday, and denied the report.

Rihanna‘s “Who’s That Chick” music video features visual effects used in her latest Doritos campaign.
Rihanna announced Wednesday that she is now managed by Jay-Z's Roc Nation company, according to E! Online. The 22-year-old singer was previously managed by Marc Jordan.
In a statement to the Associated Press, Rihanna said, “I am so excited to take this next step in my career."
In 2005, Jay-Z signed Rihanna to Def Jam Records just hours after she auditioned for him, according to MTV.com.
“We signed her that night — 3 in the morning was when that contract got signed,” Jay-Z told MTV News in 2005. “We wouldn’t let her leave the office. From meeting her at 4 [p.m.] in the office till 3 in the morning, I was absolutely certain. That doesn’t happen too often.”
The Grammy-winning singer also explained to the Associated Press that she's putting together Rihanna Entertainment, a company that will “merge all of her businesses, including music, film, fragrance, fashion, and book ventures.”
The singer's fifth album, Loud, is set to be released Nov. 16. [ SOURCE]
Tyler Perry opened up on Oprah Winfrey‘s couch about his childhood abuse by several people including his father. Perry also thanked Oprah for providing the inspiration for him to pursue a career as a writer and explained the importance of forgiveness.
Perry told Oprah that he was sexually molested by four separate adults in his life — the first when he was just five or six years old. He went on to say that his first sexual experience came at the age of 10 when a friend’s mother locked him in a room and pulled him on top of her.
Father’s abuse
Perry’s father seemingly directed all of his anger toward his young son, beating him on a near-daily basis. He recalled one instance when his father savagely beat him for improperly changing a flat tire – an event he cites as the end of his childhood.
He said he daydreamed to keep the pain away, telling Oprah that he imagined running away into a field of grass.
“I couldn’t get the little boy to come back to me. I think I died that day.”
And in a way, he did die. Perry changed his name from Emmitt Perry Jr to Tyler Perry to avoid carrying on his father’s name.
He eventually forgave his father in his twenties, though his father never apologized.
“Anger is good,” Perry told Oprah. “Bitterness is not.”
Suicide attempt
The most shocking of Perry’s revelations was that he attempted suicide as a teen by slitting his wrist. Fighting tears, Perry said his mother was the person who ultimately kept him alive.
“My mother was truly my saving grace, because she would take me to church with her. I would see my mother smiling in the choir, and I wanted to know this God that made her so happy,” he said. “If I had not had that faith in my life, I don't know where I would be right now.” [SHE KNOWS]
Raise your hand if you saw this one coming: The Parents Television Council has come down hard on a GQ Magazine photo shoot featuring the three leads of Fox's 'Glee,' claiming that the cover and inside pictorial "borders on pedophilia."
On the men's magazine's November cover, 'Glee' guy Cory Monteith poses with cast mates Dianna Agron and Lea Michele, his left hand situated on Michele's almost-bare backside.
Other snaps from the shoot showcase Michele in barely-there underwear and knee socks, straddling a lock room bench in panties and a push-up bra, and posing "strict schoolteacher"-like in lingerie and heels and wielding a pointer that may as well be a riding crop.
Agron's raciest attire, meanwhile, is the occasional satin bra and assorted pleated skirts.
The PTC calls the photo series "disturbing," arguing that GQ, which targets an adult male audience, "is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on 'Glee.'"
Although both Michele and Agron are 24 in real life (and Monteith is 28), PTC President Tim Winter derides GQ for delivering "the latest example of the overt sexualization of young girls in entertainment."
"Many children who flocked to 'High School Musical' have grown into 'Glee' fans," Winter says in his statement. "They are now being treated to seductive, in-your-face poses of the underwear-clad female characters posing in front of school lockers, one of them opting for a full-frontal crotch shot. By authorizing this kind of near-pornographic display, the creators of ['Glee'] have established their intentions on the show's direction. And it isn't good for families."
In response, GQ's editor in chief issued a statement saying, "The Parents Television Council must not be watching much TV these days and should learn to divide reality from fantasy. As often happens in Hollywood, these 'kids' are in their twenties. Cory Montieth's almost 30! I think they're old enough to do what they want."
Fox declined to comment on the PTC's criticisms. [FANCAST]
