A new 90-second commercial features James — who controversially left the Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Miami Heat this offseason — asking repeatedly, “What should I do?”
The question seems to be a direct response to the heavy criticism he received from fans and media after publically announcing his intention to leave Cleveland in a televised ESPN interview in July. James joined forces with superstars Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami in an all-out attempt to win a championship, something he thought the Cavaliers were still a long way from accomplishing.
The ad featured plenty of pointed imagery, including: Cleveland’s giant “WE ARE ALL WITNESSES” banner falling to the ground, James speaking to an empty room at a mock Hall of Fame induction, the “CHOSEN 1″ tattoo being removed from his back and James at the wheel of a bulldozer tearing through a basketball arena.
At one point, the camera focuses close on James’ face as he declares, “I am not a role model.”
James spent his first seven NBA seasons with Cleveland. He was born in nearby Akron and was viewed as a natural savior for the fledgling franchise when it drafted the highly-touted James No. 1 overall in 2003.
But James grew frustrated with the Cavaliers’ playoff shortcomings and opted to leave the team as a free agent this offseason, causing his public image to take a huge hit as many fans viewed the move to Miami in a negative light. [FOX]

Carey revealed that she miscarried after she Cannon wed in 2008.
"It kind of shook us both and took us into a place that was really dark and difficult," she said. "When that happened… I wasn't able to even talk to anybody about it. That was not easy."
Previous reports claimed Carey is four months into her pregnancy and expecting a boy.
"She's having a boy, but the reason that Mariah didn't want to say anything is because she is 40, and she's superstitious," a source said.
"They haven't decided whether they'll raise the baby in New York or Los Angeles.
"The fertility drugs were the reason for her weight gain earlier this year.
"She stopped drinking back in March or April this year."

President Barack Obama made history as the first sitting president to conduct an interview with Jon Stewart while he is in office. The president was met with a lukewarm reception from Stewart while he was encouraging young voters to visit the poles on Election Day.
Obama gently sparred with Jon Stewart on “The Daily Show” in the final run-up to next week’s midterm elections, after the comedian called his legislative progress “timid.”
Playing off the title of Obama’s book “The Audacity of Hope,” Stewart challenged the forcefulness of the president’s political agenda during his first two years in office.
“Is the difficulty that you have here the distance between what you ran on and what you delivered?” Stewart said. “You ran with such, if I may, audacity … yet legislatively it has felt timid at times.”
“This is what most people would say is as significant a piece of legislation as we have seen in this country’s history,” the president continued, saying the Affordable Care Act will provide health coverage for 30 million people, introduces a Patient’s Bill of Rights and will cut the deficit by over a trillion dollars.
“What happens is, it gets discounted because the presumption is we didn’t get 100 percent of what we wanted, we only get 90 percent of what we wanted — so let’s focus on the 10 percent we didn’t get as opposed to the 90 percent we did,” Obama said.
The 30-minute program taped at Washington‘s Harman Center for the Arts took place before a packed house, with some waiting in line for up to four hours to attend. “The Daily Show” is in Washington all week ahead of Stewart’s planned “Rally to Restore Sanity” on the National Mall on Saturday.
“You ran on the idea that this system needed basic reform … feels like some reform was done in a political manner that has papered over a system that is corrupt,” Stewart said, again challenging the pace and extent of change initiated by the Obama administration.
“Jon, I love your show, but this is something where I have a profound disagreement with you …” Obama said, leaning forward and intently tapping his finger on the desk, “this notion that health care was timid.” [CNN]
